Several swimmers from Aqualina have been identified by the ASA East Region to attend trials for a new talent identification and development scheme. Trials are being held in Hemel Hempstead on Sunday 12th May with a lot of competition for limited spaces. Good luck to all Aqualina swimmers taking part! Don’t be disheartened if you have not been selected on this occasion there will be other opportunities in the future, so keep training hard and working on your flexibility and it could be you next time.
Aqualina were kindly invited to take some senior swimmers to a training session with Medway Mermaids in Kent where our swimmers were taught a move called ‘the drain’. Keep your eyes peeled in training for it!
Thank you to everyone at Medway Mermaids for having us and coaching our swimmers a fantastic move!
The British synchro champs are being held at Ponds Forge in Sheffield this weekend. As well as British teams there will also be competitors from Canada and the Netherlands. To watch the Free Team and Free Duet live on Sunday 14th April click here

9-10 solo: Eloise Sewell – Gold
11-12 solo: Ellen Currie – Silver
15-17 solo: Amy Murdock – Bronze
12 & Under team – Gold

Aqualina SSC will be having a display session on Friday 1st March 2013 during our normal training session, 6-7pm. We will be swimming parts of routines that we are working on for the upcoming East Region competition on 16th March. Everyone is welcome to attend!
